58th Annual Congress of the Society for Endocrinology, Metabolism and Diabetes of South Africa
Thursday 16 April - Sunday 19 April 2026
On behalf of the SEMDSA 2026 Organising Committee, it gives me great pleasure to invite you to attend the 58th Annual SEMDSA Congress, taking place from Thursday, 16th to Sunday, 19th April 2026 at the Century City Conference Centre in Cape Town.
Planning for the 2026 Congress is well underway, and we look forward to hosting a gathering of leading clinicians, researchers, educators, and healthcare professionals from across South Africa and beyond. The Congress promises a dynamic and engaging scientific programme, offering opportunities for professional development, networking, and collaboration across the diabetes and endocrinology landscape.
The programme will feature keynote lectures, plenary sessions, symposia, workshops, and oral and poster presentations, ensuring rich academic content and meaningful engagement. Delegates will also enjoy opportunities to interact with peers, share research, and explore the latest innovations in the field.
We warmly invite you to join us in Cape Town for what promises to be an enriching and memorable congress experience.
We look forward to welcoming you in April 2026.
Warm regards,
Dr Marli Conradie-Smit
